Hey Chris,
It's worse than I thought. What turns the overdrive solenoid on is either
the TCM or the PCM depending on whether or not you have a 4.7. In both
cases, when the ignition is first turned on the overdrive solenoid is
activated. You cannot alter that unless you know your way into the TCM or
PCM. When you push that little button at end of your shift lever, you
basically change the position of the switch in the TCM or PCM. Each time
it's pressed the switch changes to the opposite position of what it was
before you pushed it. The positive wire from the switch to the TCM or PCM
is orange/white. The black ground goes to G200.
