Im gonna say no. I used to manage a paint supply store, and we did PPG,
which is what DC uses on their vehicles. There is is a semigloss black that
is a single stage paint, DCC is the PPG paint designation. Its a urethane
single stage. Single stage meaning you dont have to clear coat it. It is
catalyzed to withstand the elements. What gives it the semi-gloss
appearance is a "flattening" agent. They have these formulas for bumpers
available. You have to spray it though, usually the least amount you can
get is a pint. A pint will do the whole bumper.
