There's also a petcock in the thermostat housing on the front face. Your
thermostat is on the passenger side at the bottom of the block and has 2 8-mm
bolts holding it on and an 8-mm allen-head bolt for the petcock. Remove the
radiator cap and the 8-mm allen on the T-stat housing and you're in business.

There should be a petcock at the bottom of the radiator. Just loosen it and
it'll drain. There's also a drain plug on your block below the exhaust
manifold but that should be used in addition to the radiator petcock.

I was looking at my cooling system on my 4.7 (I have the transmission cooler
and such too). How the heck do you drain the coolant? I can't find a little
valve that opens or anything.

My Neon was a breeze to change... the drain valve was in plain sight and
lickity split it was drained.

Any help would be much appreciated.
