Best Cold-Air Induction System Till K&Ns 4.7 FIPK?

K&N says the 2001 4.7 FIPK system will be out this summer.

Till then, what is the best true 'cold-air' induction system on the
market, something that includes a heat shield around the filter
(IntensePerformance Stage II does not), or connects directly to the TB or
replaces the stock airhat (Airaid does not)

I did see a Volant system that looks like it has a small heat shield with
plastic tubing, and connects directly to the TB, yet I can't find any
stats on the gains or 'testimonials' about how good this system is, anyone
out there have a Volant cold-air induction system?

Re: K&N, I stumbled upon a bunch of posts with people saying how bad their
filters are re: blocking particle or debris flow...only 97% compared to
others at 98%, that is a 50% increase on allowing particles through,
thoughts on this?
