Iv's got 50,000 miles on my NV-3500 with no problems. I don't baby it by any means. I have always had a LITTLE whine in 1st since new, but it hasn't changed. When I changed the fluid @ 20,000, it did look like a metallic chocolate milkshake and I was obviously concerned, but no problems. At the first sign though, I will be back @ the dealer, since I got the "5yr-100,000 Power Train Warr" with my truck.
