Congrats on finally getting a "REAL" truck Shawn! Welcome to the Dakota
ranks. One thing to add to that list for mods is a performance throttle
body. Headers will also help, but please get them jet hot or ceramic coated
so they won't rust out on you and it will help control under hood temps.
Another easy mod is to ditch the stock clutch fan and put an electric fan in
its place. Oh yeah, just noticed something! First mod regardless!!! Put a
180 degree thermostat in that baby! it really helps keep it cool and helps
the other mods perform to their best ability! After all that, then start
looking at roller rockers, heads, cams, etc... Or just hand your credit card
over the the DML and let us build it for you! Just don't look at the credit
card bill, they have been known to cause black-outs and light headedness.
