Jim,

There's a few on the R/T list (and here as well) who are running a "True
Dual" system with Cats. It's possible...but seems like an extra bit of heat
to deal with because of the dual cats.

I was wondering if instead of using the factory type with the tiny inlets
with the
Mopar headers/Y pipe, if a dual 2.5 in to 3" out Y adapter could be used
with a 3
in 3 out after market cat. And please don't tell me it is illegal to
replace a
properly working cat because I know that and the factory cats fail often on
Dodge
trucks. Anybody give this some thought. My cat has failed already at 27k
miles.
