Hey Team,
I just finished installing MOPAR Headers on my 98 Dak 5.2L V8. Problem is
that after they heat up they smell like burning rubber. I have checked the
hoses and ignition wires and they are very warm to the touch. I imagine
that this is where the smell is coming from.
The headers are jet-coated (that's not it is it?). I have MSD 8.5mm plug
wires and they should fair well in the warm...
Is it the heater hoses, what can I do to protect them from the heat?
