Don,
Although I drive a Dodge 2500 Qd. Cab Shrt. bed 2x4 Cummins Turbo
Diesel, the Dakota is one of my favorite trucks also.
Yes, our Active Suspension Kit will fit on your truck and it works very
well on the Dakota.
It is not only a load assisting device, but it is also a performance
device. Some of the benefits are:
Improved cornering (better than adding a sway bar)
Improved traction
Reduced side sway and roll
Reduced wheel hop and axle wrap
Softens ride over bumps and dips
Improves driver control and safety
Quicker ET's
The kit for your two wheel drive unfortunately is more expensive than
the 4x4. This is due to the multi-piece hook that is required do to the
shackle cofiguration on the 2x4. The prices are as follows:
4x4-$219 + shipping
2x4-$269 + shipping
I am definately interested in group purchases for clubs to lower the
above prices.
I have personally installed many kits on numerous types of vehicles as
well as tested for the factory. This is a high quality product that
does the job. I wouldn't own a leaf spring vehicle without an Active
Suspension Kit on it.
You can call me toll free at 1-877-543-7563 to further discuss the
product and group pricing.
