The speaker wires between the head and the existing amp are line level. So
you'll need to use the speaker outs from your amp (unless there are speaker
level outs on the head, which I doubt).

However if your sub amp has line level inputs I think you'd want to use
those rather than the speaker level inputs and go straight from the head.
More effecient that way.

The factory amp on m '01 QC is behind the passenger kick panel (to the right
of and below and glove box). On my QC I remove that doorway trim piece we
talked about, then grab the kick panel and tug it toward the rear of the
truck. Oh, might also need to first remove the panel to the right of the
glove box (mirroring the fuse box panel on the left). Hopefully this stuff
is similar enough on the '00 and '01 that this is helpful.
