Hi Tim,
You have a totally different trans and shifter than I do. Your shifter
was designed for the Gen III daks. The shifter for the NV-3500 V8 daks was
designed for the gen II and gen III. In first gear, you cannot even get your
finger in between the shifter stick, and when you shift to 3rd gear, it hits
the dash. I'm pretty sure it would work fine in a gen II truck, but in mine
it just didn't fit the way I'd like.
