Marty, what year trucks are these limited to? Does anyone happen to know if
one of these pillars will fit in a 2001 with the new interior? I can send my
old pillar if y'all need a color match for 2001 (yes, that's different too).

Ok everyone, I just got off the phone with Lo-tek about 15 minutes ago. I
have some final info for all of you that are interested.
First off the final price for the first batch will be $44.99 in your choice
of factory colors. After the first batch is made then the price goes up for
factory colors by $5, so basically everyone who preorders is getting free
color matching.
Second, before they will make the final production run (A prototype is
already made) there must be a min of 20 people who will buy, this should not
be a problem seeing as how I have received about 15 emails allready and
Chris May has quite a few as well from what I understand.
Third, The way this will work is you will send a check or money order to the
company and when they have at least 20 they will ship the pods out to you. I
had the option of collecting everyones money, but would rather not as I
would not want to be responsible if I lost it !
Now the first batch can be anywhere from 20 to infinity orders inorder to
get the free color matching, so If you want one now is the time.
Also he stated that it would take between 4-6 weeks from the time he gets at
least 20 people to the time it arrives in your hands, I know it seems long,
but hey these are being made from scratch, not just sitting on some shelf
somewhere.
Last but not least, they will need color samples from the different
interiors, he said as long as its the size of a quarter or larger it will
work (just make sure its clean, not sun faded, coke spilt all over it...)
Cause these will determine the correct colors for everyone elses pods.
I dont know all the colors, just my gray color, and my brothers r/t is a
little darker. So if anyone has any broken or spare plastics, let me know.
I will post the companys address in the next writing so you all can send in
payment. If there are any questions please email me and I will try to
answer.

I think what I will do is once I post the addy they whoever sends out
payment to the company can send me an email and let me know, and ill keep
tally of the # of people. I just need a few days buffer zone for the
questions before the "i sent mine in" emails :)
