I don't think it's the gap that's messing you up. If I'm not
mistaken, 3923's are NOT the right plug for the 4.7 -- you have an
entirely different type of ignition system (is it distributor-less and
low energy?) than the engines that benefit from the 3923's (5.2 & 5.9
liter magnums).
