ok,
I was crusing around in my fatty dak, when the check engine lite when on....
I proceded to pull codes and it gave me, 12, 21, and 55. I cant explain the
12 (but its just a warning anyway) and the 55 is just the last code that
would have been spit out. My question is what kinda symptoms would you see
if the o2 sensor went out? this is the definition for 21.

Upstream oxygen sensor voltage shorted to ground (tested after key off and
at start to run) ** or
Left oxygen sensor input voltage maintained above the normal operating
range. **
or
Upstream oxygen sensor response slower than minimum required switching
frequency or value does not go above .65 volts. **
or
Upstream oxygen sensor heating element circuit malfunction. **
or
Downstream oxygen sensor voltage shorted to ground (tested after key off and
at start to run) **
or
Downstream oxygen sensor input voltage maintained above the normal operating
range. **
or
Neither rich nor lean condition detected from the downstream oxygen sensor.
**
or
Downstream oxygen sensor heating element circuit malfunction. **

what do I do? Replace both 100$ sensors? and if I wait a while is going to
ruin my engine?

Wes
