AH a GenII/PL2000 owner.. If you don't want to invest in the Iceman intake,
just take the top of the air cleaner off for an extra 5/10hp. Be warned if
you stomp on the gas everyone within a block will know you just did. If
you're gonna do anything with the exhaust get a complete catback(Dynomax
makes a good catback, and priced well) since the cat it's 2.5" and at the
muffler it's 1 7/8". Most tricks that can be done to a Dak can be done to a
Neon. If you're gonna add an MSD unit, you are going to need a DIS system
with one tach adapter. For plugs the stock Champions work quite well. If
handling is your thing then a set of MP ACR/RT springs and 22/20mm swapbar
combo works wonders. REX inserts to keep the engine straight and the front
wheels from hopping. Can't do much with the TB's yet, they are nylon/polymer
compound (DON"T USE SPRAY CARB CLEANER!!!!). If you're gonna rev the engine
at the line first invest ina tranny cooler, then when you stage mash the
brake pedal and tach the engine to 1500-2000 RPM. Also invest in the Moroso
oil pan, it helps prevent oil starvation amking hard right turns. BTW East
Jersey Prison(AKA Rahway Prison) is actually in Woodbridge/Middesex County,
and not in Rahway/Union County.. ;-)
