Since you have the extended warranty, I'd make the dealer repair it. If
they squable about it, just pull out the warranty and show them the B&W
print. Same with your water leaks. They should be taken care of under the
warranty.

Subject: DML: A/C Suggestions?? (long)

Well letsee my dak is a 98 v8, not that engine size
should make a difference. My case is I have an A/C
that must have a leak. For one it doesn't make cold
air anymore not even slightly cool. I had a "pro"
recharge it for me and it worked for about 1.5days. I
had been all excited that was working but by the next
day.....it was hot as hell again!! During the
previous 2 years the A/C was great but now....I want
to take it to the dealer bu I hate dealing with them.
Personally I dont like that bent over no vaseline with
a little sand feeling. Also thats my only vehicle.
What would you all suggest to be the first area/part
that I check or have replaced. I plan on having it
done somewhere other than the dealer. Can you all
tell that I hate dealing with those arses and I know
that once they have me by the balls I mean by the
truck I'll have to pay for whatever repairs aren't
covered by the extended warranties. What the heck do
those things cover. Sorry guys by I am begining to
hate my dak and Dodge in general...I have had water
leaks, bad rotors, brakes etc, now the A/C goes bad in
the 2.5 years that I've owned the truck. Thats the
whole reason I ttok the dive and bought a NEW vehicle
thinking it would last longer than an already used
one. I think picking DODGE was my mistake. My buddy
regrets his Intrepid too.
