just a question here. I was thinking of putting on an electric fan to free
up some HP but upon looking at my 01 QC 4.7L I noticed it already has one on
it. I got he Heavy Duty cooling option when I bought it and I assume that
this is what that did. Anyone converted one like this to all electric fans?
I'm assuming that I'd need more then one.

How long have you had the fan before having problems? If it is a recent
install, you could be overloading the fuse amperage rating having it
grounded at the headlight terminal. You need to buy a $5.00 relay, and
change your ground to the engine block. I have the same fan, and have had no
fuse problems.
