Does anyone know if the clutch's changed technology since '92? I have not
been gentle, I'll even say "extremely spirited" with my '92 and always
downshift. The clutch is perfect. Any ideas what the problem might be?

OK, here is my dilemma. I need a new clutch. I guess
I have beat on this one too many times. The problem
is that it is a 2000 with the 4.7l. The dealer wants
$300 install and $385 for a factory replacment clutch.
I do not want another factory clutch. I ahve not
heard many good things about the centerforce dual
frictions lasting but right now tht looks like my best
option. Has anyone else been hard enough on thier
4.7l clutch and found another brand? How have all of
you found the dual frictions to be? I need something
that will stand up to 60k of "spirited" street
driving. If you could email me presonally at
"chlambert@ti.com" I would greatly appreciate as I
jsut bought a house so I have not kept up with the
list in the last 5 weeks or so.

Thanks in Advance,
Chris
