Hmm, interesting, I hadn't thought of two parts, my latest idea was to glue
2x2s together into about a 6x6, cut it out of that, sand it down to the
perfect size, all nice and round, then break the peices apart, and use some
tape, in very few places, to put it back together. After that mold the
fiberglass around it, when it has cured, pound out the a center 2x2, which
should go all the way through, this would losen up the outer pieces so that I
can take them out one by one. Although your idea sounds more simply, I was
planning on insulating it and adding another layer of fiberglass anyway, this
could hold the two pieces together, I might actually do three pieces, I have
a nasty curve in the middle of my design.
P.S. Anyone else can jump in on this discussion if you have ideas. multiple
dakheads are better than two
