Well. I finnaly finished the broken thermostat bolt project. What a day.
I couldn't get the EZ-out out of the hole, and I couldn't drill the old bolt
out either because of the hardened steel from the EZ-out, so me and my
brother in law ended up moving the Hose housing over about a 3/8 of an inch.
We drilled and tapped a new hole, tightened it and it works. Doesn't leak.
Took it for a ride, works ok. Temp around 180 degrees. So the hose is
offset a tiny bit but luckily the hose housing is larger than the hole, so
it can seal it. We were getting nervous there this afternoon that we were
going to have to take the intake manifold apart, or go to his work to get a
carbine tip to drill through the hardened steel. Well Thanks for
everyone's idea's and help.
