I ran a solid 15.7 at the worst track in the country-CARLSBAD CA. Spinning
tires was the major factor for the first 100 plus feet.
May require slicks for drag racing for better traction.

Subject: DML: Disapointment at the track last night, need advice
Hi all, 2k QC 4.7 5spd. 3.55. LSD
I was a little disappointed last night at the drag strip.
My best pass was a 15.89 at 84 mph.
The reason i am not happy is when my truck was stock i ran a 15.85@ 84 mph.
Now i have a Jet stage 2, intense performance stage 2, bosch 4417 +4, 180 t
stat and a Gibson single side swept.
What gives?
I think 2 things could be a factor.
1. I put R/T wheels and tires. They are 1 inch taller that my stock tires,
that would change the gear ratio?
2. There was a pretty good head wind last night plus it was pretty damp.
What do you all think?
