Mine was defiantly the fuel injector's, I silenced the crickets with the new
injectors.

I was told the clickity clickity noise was from places like Lube Pros,
etc... using cheap oil filters and preventing the oil from lubing the
lifters. Once the oil warms up, this goes away. This happened to me only
one time after a Lube Pros change and happened throughout the 3000 miles. I
got it changed again and it went away. It was also Feb-March at the time,
but it's been colder without the clicking...
