No, it's been verified through Dodge. All Dakota 3.9/5.2/5.9, all years,
have the same t-stat.

Subject: DML: 99 V6 T-Stat

As I don't think people are lying, is it possible that the 99 V6s DO
have a different size T-Stat???? Those of you who did use the 370-180, what
engine year and size do ya have????

     I have a 99 V6 and I am using a Robert Shaw (generation2) tstat part #
GT755-180. It fit perfectly however im still overheating and cant fine a
solution. Dodge told me to "burp" it by running water through as im running
the engine.
