Hey Daker's!!
Just remember that this is an "offset" crash test which is running into a
cement block only on the drivers side of center. This is no where near the
same results of a front impact using the entire front end of the truck.
Major different in results! All models of Dak's will show the same results
for this test.
The best tips I can give you to try to avoid an offset front end crash are:
- Don't fall asleep at the wheel and drift across center
- Stay alert to all traffic
- Drive with the speed of traffic
That's pretty much it in a nutshell. If an impact is eminent, as all efforts
to avoid it have failed, use the entire front end.
