I moved to San Diego about 5 years ago and don't think I will ever get
used to the drivers out here. I am not sure what causes it but I have
2 theories:
1. These people are so self absorbed that they forget that other
people share this world with them.
2. The amount of divided streets and left turn arrows has lulled
these people into a kind of "slot car" mentality (kids, ask your dad
what a slot car is...lol.) They just follow the signs and the lights
and don't have to think about anything.
I bike to work to offset the low milleage of my truck and ge to see a
lot of the bad behaviors around here I am glad I have flexible hours
and I don't have to be on the road during any busy times.
