The "door ajar" chime is integral to the driver door switch in the DAKSY -
according to the Bible (FSM). It's also tied into the Central Timer Module
(CTM).
Looks like it'll hafta go on a separate circuit & light lke Don M.
suggested.
Guess this also means that I gotta live with the infernal bonging when the
key is in the ignition & the driver door's open, because that circuit is
tied to the CTM also. Dang! Other vehicles like my ole B2000 (*shudder*)
Mazda, had a relay that I could unplug to eliminate the door buzzer.
Also, if there were no more DAKs or RAMS I'd find me an ole POWER WAGON &
paint it SY!
