I've heard the y-pipe really doesn't offer anything for our trucks, so I
didn't get one. These fit fine with a little bit of muscle to jimmy the
y-pipe with them.

Did you get the JBA Y-pipe also? I was thinking about
getting a set of the headers for my 98 4x4 5.2 CC but
wasn't sure if I sould order the Y-pipe also. Is there
any difference between the JBA Y and the stock Y?

Might as well replace the Y pipe since it will be
apart I guess.
