...or worse yet, a manufacturer of headers or other performance parts may
want to do the dyno test with many other mods on the vehicle to get bigger
numbers. That way they'd start to realize profits a lot faster. Even with
dyno numbers showing that particular part may not work the same in your
vehicle with your combinations. I don't like to discourage people but I
hate to see the letdown when things don't seem to come out like they
expected. It's always better to tell you the bad news first, then if it's
not as bad or better yet then you'll be a lot happier. Those of you that
work on cars constantly, like Bernd, etal, know what I'm talking about.
That's why the estimates that come out of their mouths stay to the low side.
I don't honestly think that headers, JBA or otherwise, will do a whole lot
for you, if anything, if that's the ONLY mod you put on your Dak.

Subject: RE: DML: Jet Chips/JBA Headers
Ya dont believe the dyno sheets because the headers are put on stock trucks.
Remember that most of you have free flowing exhuast (cat back) so the
numbers
will not be the same when you have other modifications just like the jet
chip
(hint hint hint).
