  Are you looking for an actual ignition wire, or any wire that provides
+12v when the ignition is on? If its the former, I believe there are
a couple of wires that run up the steering column; I want to say pink/white
or white/pink, but don't quote me on that. (If that's the type of
wire you're looking for let me know and I'll look up the colors in my
'96 FSM.) Otherwise, you might want to try the cigarette lighter; those
wires are generally easier to access, and if your '98 is like my '96,
its only hot when the ignition is on.

 PS: Get a test light! ;-) (Actually, even better, a digital multimeter...)
