Chris,
The two engines are different. The LA heads are different from the magnum
heads. The rockers mount on a fulcrum tube as opposed to a pedestal style
in the magnum. The rollers are lubricated differently between the two heads
also. You can convert the magnum heads to LA heads with some machine work.
I have an article on it somewhere in my library. If your interested, I'll
see if I can find it. But be aware that it may take me a little while to

setup yet on a magnum motor - or knows someone
who has. It looks like it should be fine as long as
I put a restrictor in, but I don't have any experience
with Mopar motors (all Chevy :) ). Also I am assuming
lifters are the same as the normal LA engine series?
