Well that I can't confirm, but being that I went to school on them and have
had a few apart, I'd bet money on it ,its not. When you get it apart, it
looks very "mopar" inside, such as the oil pump, rocker arms, timing
chains,pistons, and rods.

That forsure is NOT true. Its the same 2.0/2.4 series of engines that came
out in the neon/stratus back in 1994.
