I replaced the factory #893 bulbs with Select Xenon Xtra brand "HID-look"
100w bulbs. They are BRIGHT! Plus they match my JC Whitney 100w White Plasma
headlight bulbs perfectly, no more "white'n'yellow" look. Got them from my
local speed shop for $45/pair (ouch!) but I think they're worth it. Plus
they're DOT approved. The Select p/n is 899, but they fit the connectors and
lock in place just like the OE 893s. Hope this helps. BTW, if you're looking
to replace the whole light, Pilot makes a set for around $100 that are
direct-fit for the Gen IIIs.
