unless this is the 2002 year models I know the Nissan doesn't make that much
more HP. Should only be 210hp with the supercharger. It adds 40 horse tot
he 170 standard.

Subject: DML: CR "Quad Cab" ratings

and Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SC (270hp, 3.3L SC V6, 4,285 lb) in that order.
0-60 1/4 overall fuel
economy price as tested
Explorer 9.6 17.4 15
28,060
Dakota 8.9 16.8 13
30,980
Tacoma 9.6 17.4 16
27,021
S-10 10.2 17.8 15
25,637
Frontier 9.6 17.4 14

They liked the Dak's roomy, comfortable cabin, strong V8, longer bed,
full-time 4wd. Ride and handling was rated as not bad for this class.
Gave a thumbs down on the fuel economy (while acknowledging the
strong V8 and heavier body), below par brakes (where have we heard
this before), and worst than average reliability.
