Clunk in the front end

After getting everything cleaned up (as much as I could), I now have a
clunk in my front end. It happens anytime I come to a stop, when the
truck rocks back after nosing down for the stop. I also get it as I'm
turning, about the same point in the steering wheel's rotation every
time.

I hear the clunk, and feel it in the steering wheel, though the wheel
doesn't move that I can tell - more like clunk vibrates up the shaft.
I checked the u-joints in the steering shaft and both are clean as a
whistle.

I just had the lower ball joints replaced a month ago. Did I knock
something else loose on the trail? Do I just need to re-grease
something?

Hopefully I'll have an understanding dealer - unless I get an
appointment Wednesday or Thursday (and I'll call a few places), I'll be
taking it in after my warranty has expired, since I'm at 35756 right
now and I'm going to Carlisle on Friday. As long as I make the dealer
aware of this when I make the appointment, I'm still covered, yes?
