Just remember the '01 dash has changed, the 1.5 DIN has rounded corners and
very likely won't accept a standard 1.5 DIN headunit.

I have Just installed the DEH-P77DH in my Dakota. It has the remote
control. Installation was a breeze. Make sure you get the harness adapter
so all you have to do in plug-into the connectors in your dash. I also
installed a 6 disk Changer under the back seat. System is a great
improvement over the factory reciever.
