I just purchased a 2001 Quad Cab SLT 4 x 4 with the 4.7l automatic. I have been having a thump occasionally from the transmission. I also have a squeak coming from the front right of the truck when I turn right and go over bumpy roads. I was wondering if anybody else has had any of these problems. I heard there was a problem with the drive shafts coming off of the assembly line and figure that could be my thumping sound.
I was also wanting to get some opinions on which spray in bed liner is the best to use.
