    I had wondered that same thing. The only reason I could figure for not
doing it that way is the fact that you would have to have a spacer that the
nozzles would project into the bore. Mine was pointed toward the TB so in
effect it actually had a ram effect into the TB. The temperature drop down
stream of the injector is unreal. This gives a real cold & dense charge.
actually it is equivalent to a much larger Bore TB. As much as 100 degree
drop. I measured mine one time with outside temp of 80 and down stream it
was 10 degrees. Also, this plays hell with any moisture in the fuel.
