>>Is there a way to up (control) the fuel pressure in a gen II dakota? I
would
like to increase the pressure a bit, my 24# injectors are too small for WOT
with the 360 pcm, and the 30#'s are too big for the street. If I can't fix
this problem, I will be going to a carb.<<<

Mark,
the only way to do this is expensive, but it'll work wonders.
go to the boneyrad and get the following off a 92-93 Dakota:
-Fuel rail
-fuel lines (you'll need the return line)
-tank
-fuel pump
-wiring harness

check it out. The 92-93 Daks had the pressure regulator on the fuel rail
instead of in the tank. If you switch to the 92 fuel system, you will have
access to the regulator. The 94+ systems use a fuel pump/regulator all in
one unit that is non-serviceable. The 92-93 systems ran the regulator on the
fuel rail, so not only is it serviceable, it's also replaceable. Marty at
KRC knows of an aftermarket pump that'll work with thw 92 fuel system, and
he also knows in-depth what parts you'll need to swap over to the 92 system.
I was gonna' do this with my 360 swap since I was gonna' have to re-do my
fuel system anyway. Marty knows of a couple guys with R/T's who switched to
this fuel system with positive results.

Hope this helps!
