They really mess with us in NY - 65 is the limit on "rural interstates" but
it's 55 everywhere else. It even gets down to 45 within the downtown
Syracuse section of I-81. So, on my drive to work every morning, the road
I'm on forks off and the side I stay on goes from 65 to 55 after the split.
 And the cops just *love* sitting just on the other side of the turn to
pick people off.
