Yep, that's right. I have a QC and the carseat fits in the middle and DC
has an excellent anchoring system which they put in for free.

Back Middle seat is the safest place for any child as long as the carseat
fits, I have two little ones 22 months and 3 months. I have a regular cab
so Im really screwed.
But think of it this way he/she will only be little and in the car seat for
a few years.. then they can ride in the back for quite a few years. I dont
know what kind of a seat it would be for a teenager, might be tight..
