Yes.You cannot have voltage without current.If the
battery is at the right voltage unloaded and the
voltage drops too much when you apply a load,then the
battery has trouble supplying current.A car battery is
distinguished by it`s current capacity,not necessarily
it`s voltage.Try to start a car with a nine volt
battery with two AAA batteries in series with it,and
you`ll see what I mean.Anyway,it seemed odd to me that
a battery could possibly spin a high-current
starter,and not go on to also supply low current
devices.You would think it would show a problem with
the starter first.But apparently (from what others
have stated here),it has happened.
