It's possible but the wood would also absorb any moisture (gas, oil, water,
etc). Check with Trick Flow Industries...they carry a 1-2" Phenolic Block
spacer for the Magnum engines. (Wouldn't recommend them for performance unless
you're running something other than the factory manifold, but it's your engine.)
