I would also add a tranny cooler & maybe an oil cooler.
The last thing you want to do is blow your transmission while towing.
I didn't do it on my Blazer & it inevitably killed the transmission.
I have one on my DAK & pull a 5500lb boat(dry) with a 1100lb trailer
& haven't had any problems.

Ok so I have a 1990 3.9l. I am going to be towing a trailer in the next few
weeks. I have towed before and I am not worried about that, the problem is
since I will be towing some long distances, I actually need to put a pigtail
on for lights for the trailer. Has anyone done this with a premag? Is it
gonna be hard for me to wire a universal pigtail, or should I spend the
extra money to buy the "t" formed plug??
