I just got a phone call from the dealership, and they have solved the
mystery noise. The ticking I was hearing was coming from the transfer case,
and the rattling noise was coming from the CV joint. They removed the front
driveshaft, ran it up to 35mph, and the noise was gone. They are now
replacing the CV joint, and all the U-joints, and I should have my truck
back on Friday!
I swear, if I hear that noise after all this......;-)
