Not sure if this posted the first time, sorry if anyone gets it twice. . .

According to the book for my 2001 QC 4.7L, Schedule B says Drain and refill
ATF and change sump filter (4.7 only) and Drain and refill ATF, change
filter and adjust bands (3.9 and 5.9) at 30K, 60K, 90Kand 120K.

Along the same maintenance lines, it says to change the front and rear axle
fluid every 12K. Is that normal? Been a long time since I owned a truck,
and don't remember ever doing that before. . .

Thanks,
-- Art

Subject: DML: Question for 2001 4.7L auto owners....

Whlie I was at the dealer this moring getting my seatbelt bolts tightened I
asked about service on my tranny. Dave the service guys says that the
(making a lonnnnng story short) He says that the 2001 tranny needs to be
serviced at 100,000 miles and the 2000 tranny every 15,000 to 30,000 miles.
Can some check there owners manule and see what is says? But the joke here
is that there the same unit. My 2000 owners manule say services with atf-3
every 12,000 to 30,000 miles. Also Dave says it coast $200+ ( 2 filters $20
and $25 each) $70 for atf-4 fluid, $80+ for labor (Prices appox). He's says
the 2000 and 2001 both come with atf-4.
