Pulled a code 12....

Well guys, my check engine light comes on so much that I just ignore it most
the time since I haven't been able to pull codes. Turns out I was just doing
the On-Off sequence too slow. Anywho, I finally pulled a code and it was 12:
Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on
cycles. I know for sure that this has not happened, so what else could it be?
Also 12 was the only thing that showed up, is this normal? I waited a few
minutes, I tried the sequence again and I even pushed the trip button but 12
is all I get. Normal? My Dak is a 97 5.2 4x4 CC. Aftermarket: Gibson headers &
 cat-back, K&N FIPK in-take, MSD 8.5's, 180 stat and 3923's. Any help is
welcome and appreciated.

Jake
