I have 18" rims on my 97 dakota cc lowered 2-4.

i currently have 245-40-18s in teh front and there's a LOT more room for
tires, and i've compared a 255-45 next to mine and it looks like there's a
lot of room.

No one responded to my query about 18" wheels and 255/55 tires. Does that
mean nobody uses them or there are no problems with rubbing? I would sure
appreciate an answer before I "gamble" with a $1,000 purchase. Thanks,
