Another spark plug question ( I know, sorry)

Most of you that have been there, done that on the DML recommend the
standard tip Autolite 3923.
Does anyone have any experience with the Autolite 5223 (one step colder as
the 3923), but with the extended "power tip" that is recommended for our
engines? I'm just trying to figure out why the standard tip colder plug
supposedly works better in the Magnum engines than the recommended extended
power tip?

Thanks in advance for any responses, as this has got me stumped!
