Toyota Tacoma has a true locker (electric actuation though, only locked
under 5mph). Similar to the ARB or OX Trax. I want a real locker, no
limited slips (ie trash lock). Are the factory skids pretty beefy? Are
there any lifts out there for the 1999-current daks?

You answered your own question. :-) A stock Dak is already better
than the brand X toys; no need for a special off-road version.
Skid plates are already available as a factory option; true, the 4.10s
would be nice, but they can be done aftermarket if you really need 'em.
I'm not sure what the Off-Roadster Ram has for a diff; I suspect
just the sure grip? I can't see a manufacturer offering a true locker
in a street vehicle; all the posers would complain. I guess its possible
though.
