  They used to be... :-) If you have a '99 or earlier Dak, the skid
plates are steel, and of a prety decent strength. The newer daks have
plastic skid plates; better than nothing I suppose, but just barely.

  Any chance the Tacoma locker can be adapted to a Dak? I wouldn't mind
having lockers in the Ram, but I'd really like an ARB style, without the
expense of course. :-)
